Going to a new church can be intimidating. We understand that. Here are some questions that you might have:
- How long is the service? What happens during the service?
- Our Sunday services generally are about one hour long. We have times of singing together, listening to the choir and special music, and then a practical Bible message. We take up an offering, but you do not need to feel obligated to give.
- What about my kids?
- For all of our services, we provide a clean, staffed nursery for ages 0-3. On Sunday mornings, we have children's church during the morning worship service for ages 4-12. We have children's clubs on Wednesdays at 7 pm. We have Sunday School classes for all ages at 10 am on Sundays. Our youth group (6th-12th grade) meets on Tuesdays from 6-8 pm.
- Where do I park?
- You may park where you like. There are some reserved spots for guests right at the front of our main entrance. There is handicap accessibility in our back parking lot.
- What do I wear?
- Our pastoral staff and ministry team will be dressed in "Sunday best," but as our guest, you are welcome to wear what is comfortable.
- How can I get connected?
- There are plentiful opportunities for our members to serve in various ministries! Speak with one of our pastoral staff if you are interested in joining Bayview Baptist Church!
- What if I don't have a Bible?
- That's ok! We have Bibles in each pew that you are welcome to use. If you need a Bible, speak to one of our staff! At Bayview Baptist Church, we use the King James Version (Authorized Version) for all ministries.
